The massive bride on the left is the Torah; the groom is a rabbi with a big nose holding a scroll on his shoulder. The sculpture celebrates the importance of the Father-Son relationship as that of a true love inspired by the book, like a bride. This love improves the devotion men have for their wives, treating them as respectfully as the book.
