Ski, skate, sled, or snowshoe, then return from your adventures to warm yourself by our living room fireplace with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Our dining room is set with fine china, sparkling silver and fresh bouquets. The menus include classical selections plus innovative cuisine. All baking and desserts are made at the Inn. We use prime fresh ingredients. Gourmet dinners are beautifully presented in an old world ambiance that is the perfect backdrop for romance, relaxation and camaraderie.

     September has peaks and hints of the brilliant autumn colors that will burst full force in early October. The air is crisp and the sky is bright blue. Berry pancakes and warm maple syrup are required for breakfast and a favorite sweater is suggested for the evening. Guests come from all over the world for Vermont's majestic foliage.
